Kim from the Real Housewives of Atlanta is an example of why men think women are gold diggers. I mean she is not even married to this Big Poppa guy and she spends his money like it is water. I mean she is saying she earned everything when she was middle class but as a mother she needs to show her daughters that you need to earn what you have. She called Brielle ungrateful but Brielle sees Kim getting everything she wants without even working for it. You cannot be on equal footing with a man if before you are married all you do is sponge money off of him.

Women think being successful is just having access to millions of dollars but you cannot be a personal success to your children if you teach them to find a sugar daddy to give you every thing you want out of life. I mean why would Big Poppa even marry Kim at all? I mean she already has access to his money and spends it all the time. I mean he knows she is with him for his money so marrying her would just give her access to his money if they divorced. There is really no reason for him to ever marry her. I think Kim needs to work to show her daughters that she can provide for them. What do you think?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta new episode on October 21, 2008 was a decent episode.The ladies decided to visit Kim’s psychic. NeNe was told that she would be receiving a letter and lo and behold she did end up receiving a letter. NeNe received a letter stating that her father Curtis might not be her biological father after all. NeNe was very shocked and upset that one of her mother’s sisters had sent her that letter. She and her father Curtis do not have a very good relationship at all. They had not spoken in two years but NeNe decided to call him and ask him if he had doubts that he was her biological father. NeNe decided that she wanted to get a DNA test done to find out the truth and that is where the episode ended with NeNe. Kim is becoming quite the little backstabber, now she’s suddenly Sheree’s BFF? I mean NeNe has been there for Kim and the only reason why Sheree even wants to hang around Kim is because she wants to stick it to NeNe. We learned that DeShawn is throwing her annual diamond gala fundraiser and that there will be an auction. What will happen with NeNe and her father? I guess we will have to see on next week’s episode.

This week’s new episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta was okay. I loved seeing NeNe taking her son Brison to college. She is a great mom. She was asking whether they could paint the room and install plasmas. She also asked Brison if  he was going to be able to dust and keep his room clean.

Sheree was yet again indulgent. How can you spend $6500 on five pairs of shoes? I mean that’s insane. She hasn’t even gotten her divorce settlement money yet and she is always seen blowing money.

Sheree also decided to attend Kim’s eleven year old daughter Brielle’s birthday party. Sheree and Kim are friends but not best friends why are you inviting these women to an eleven year old’s birthday party. NeNe did talk to Sheree by phone to end their fight. I doubt these two ladies are done with the drama.

DeShawn bores me. She ranted and raved about her home but there are no personal touches. Her son’s rooms look like guest rooms bot rooms for young boys. She also pretended to be taking notes during a job interview but the Word document on the screen was blank. She says she is a single mom six days a week but she has a chef, nanny, governess, and housekeeper. She doesn’t have a bunch of kids and I really don’t know what she does all day.

Kim’s birthday party was way too much. She spent 18,000. She keeps saying she worked for everything she has but she has no job and lives off her looks. How is that teaching your daughter a work ethic? Her daughter was even asking if she ordered wine, I wouldn’t want the chaperon of my daughter drinking while they are in a hotel where anything could happen to them.

What will happen next week? The preview has NeNe asking her dad to take a DNA test.

NeNe Leakes on the Real Housewives of Atlanta is by far my favorite housewife of all time. She is so energetic and full of life. Money hasn’t changed her as much as it has the other women.For instance, DeShawn and Sheree have staffs. I mean who needs all of those people to run a home? Sheree had a publicist for her birthday. Come on, you are not that famous. Why would you need a nanny and a governess when you don’t work?

NeNe is so much fun and I think she is a great friend. She makes sure that her sons are disciplined and she knows how to have a good time. NeNe keeps it real whereas Sheree is trying to be something she’s not. You are born with class, you can not buy it.

I love NeNe and Lisa on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. They are down to earth andI would be friends with both of them.

I watched the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Let me ask all of you does marrying money make you successful  and people think you are somebody? Now, DeShawn, she stays at home, contributes no money and needs a governess, nanny, chef, housekeeper, estate manager, and a maid? She barely interacts with her kids. Isn’t the point of not working to take care of your own house and kids?

NeNe-  I absolutely love her! She is feisty and says what is on her mind. She loves her two sons and stays involved in their lives.

Kim- to me she is showing her daughters how to be just as materialistic as she is. She doesn’t work but buys a 68,000 Escalade. She is a good friend to NeNe but she needs to show her daughters not to just go out and find a sugar daddy.

Lisa- I loved her. She makes her own money and has three of her own businesses. She has a baby and still loves to exercise. She has a great attitude and she is a go-getter.

Sheree- she is a hater. She was upper middle class or so she says and now she is upper class. She doesn’t get the fact that her ex-husband is rich so she is by default. She is embarrassing with her entourage. She has a bad attitude and just gives off a bad vibe.

This episode was okay. The Sheree/ NeNe drama needed to be avoided. I give this reality show a C-.

On October 7th, 2008 Bravo is unveiling its new installment of the Real Housewives. This time the reality show is set in Atlanta, Georgia. The five women starring on this reality show are:DeShawn Snow, Kim Zolciak, Lisa Wu Hartwell,  NeNe Leakes, and Sheree Whitfield.

My one problem is that the Real Housewives is supposed to be about real housewives. These shows always show ridiculous indulgences and the constant spending of thousands of dollars. I want to see real housewives like myself on television. No Gucci or Dior, let’s see the housewife who wears Wrangler jeans and a sweatshirt to run errands and pick up her kids in her car that has 100,000 miles on it.

In today’s economy who wants to see wealthy women spend money and cat fight? Money doesn’t make you successful, hard work does. I will give this reality show a chance but after The Real Housewives of NY, and Orange County, there is little doubt in my mind that this reality show will be the same as the other two.
