The Amazing Race has one new episode left of the season. Last night’s episode determined who would be the three teams racing for one million dollars. Last night, we had the following teams racing: Nick and Starr, Toni and Dallas, Ken and Tina, and Dan and Andrew. The teams were in Moscow. They needed to go to a place where they had statues of Lenin and Stalin. They needed to count how many Lenin statues there were and how many Stalin statues there were and put the number together and say it to a female clerk who would then give the teams a book and a clue to their next direction. Nick and Starr did this easily but the other teams experienced problems.Every time you guess incorrectly, you cannot guess for another ten minutes. Dallas was there forever, Tina eventually gave him the answer so he could be on his way. Dallas made a huge mistake- he left the bag with their passports and money in a cab and could not get the bag back. This was huge, but they did get money from many people who they asked for help. Then, the teams had to take a pastry to a lady, ride a trolley bus or trains. That lead them to their final destination in Moscow. Nick and Starr finished first, Andrew and Dan second, Tina and Ken third. Dallas and Toni were eliminated. They would not have been able to complete the race anyway because they had no passports.

Last night, I watched the Amazing Race. The episode was okay. The remaining six teams of two traveled to Delhi. They had some sort of colored powered thrown at them while they were climbing a ladder and searching for clues. This was not very fun for the six teams because the colored powered got in their eyes, nose, and all over their hair and clothes. The team who struggled the most with this task was the divorcees- Kelly and Christy. I have to say I do feel for them because they did look very hot and sweaty and were covered in powdered coloring. It is supposed to be how the country’s people celebrate but it was not something that looks very fun to me at all. Ken and Tina, who are separated had to do a speed bump because they were not eliminated last week even though their team was the team that came in last place. They had to do a speed bump which was passing out holy water to the church’s people. They survived doing this. One of the tasks was to pound down hot chile peppers and Sarah did not enjoy that at all. I can feel for her. I mean grinding down chile peepers, the juice gets into your eyes and on your hands, it is no fun at all. Nick and Starr finished in first, Toni and Dallas came in second, Sarah and Terence came in third, Ken and Tina came in fourth, the frat boys came in fifth, and Kelly and Christy came in last. Kelly and Christy were eliminated on this leg of the race. What did you think of this week’s Amazing Race?

Last night, I caught an episode of the Amazing race. It wasn’t that interesting at all. Sarah and Terence were picked up for speeding, they also had a problem with their boat. In the end, Aja and Ty were eliminated. I am very bored with this show. I mean it should be exciting, it is a race around the world after all. It just has become the same thing each season. I would really like to see Toni and Dallas win. Toni seems like such a nice mother. I just think they need to cast different people next time around. I mean we need some real personality from these contestants and truthfully, I don’t see a lot of personality out of any of these contestants. I think they need to have it be that they pick the contestants and then you have to race with people that you don’t know. It could also be like on Dr. Phil when he has the Dr.Phil House and brings together different people who discriminate against people. So, for instance if you discriminate against short people then a short person is your team mate on the race, What do you guys think about changing the Amazing Race so that you don’t have to have known the person for a while?

Last night, I watched the Amazing Race. I try to follow this reality show but it isn’t as exciting as it used to be. The teams have a little drama mainly between Kelly and Christy and Nick and Starr. I think the format of this show needs to change because the show has become stale. Maybe they should start the contestants off in different locations and have them complete the road blocks and challenges so they are not all in one place at the same time. If the challenge distances and difficulties were the same then there would be no difference in the overall outcome and winner of the Amazing Race. How would you change the Amazing Race?

The thirteenth season of The Amazing Race began in Los Angeles. The first leg of the race took the racers to Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. At the Sandwich Shop, the teams must wheel a traditional vending cart to Praca de Se, where they get their next clue. At the Military Base, teams had to sign in for 1 of 3 departure times: 9am, 9.30am or 9.45am. Teams spent the night in tents. Terrence and Sarah arrived first and got their 9 am sign in time. The detour was called hard way up or soft way down. In hard way up the contestants must climb a hard stone stair case on their knees and are asked a question at the top- How many steps have you climbed. During soft way down-the team has to climb down a 240 feet cargo net. The pit stop is in Forte de São Marcelo. Nick and Starr were team number 1 and won a trip to Belize. Anita and Arthur arrived last and were eliminated from the race. Who will win the Amazing Race? We will all have to watch and see what happens.
