Table for 12 had 2 new episodes this week. One involved a campout and the other involved Meghan and Kyle attending drama camp. I think his family is really a good example of how children with multiples needs to act. Betty is very calm and her kids are well behaved. Rebecca, who has special needs is adored by everyone in the family. I liked that the parents are so grounded and loving and that their kids have opportunities to do extra curiccular things and have fun. Betty seemed very proud of both of her kids at the play. I thought the episodes were great!

The hit TLC reality show Table For 12 returns to the TLC lineup on Tuesday. I for one am excited. I like Betty and Eric Hayes. I have read that they only film their kids on school vacations, holidays, and weekends. I have to commend them, they have two sets of twins and a set of sextuplets and they have a daughter with special needs. I am excited to see what this new season brings.

This week on Table for 12, two new episodes aired. The first episode was about eldest twins Kevin and Kyle turning thirteen. Eric decided to give the boys gift cards and let them go to the mall by themselves and find something to buy. I really commend Eric his boys are great. I mean Kyle is very smart and really seems to care and bond with Rebecca who has cerebral palsy. Both boys are very respectful and you can tell they really love their parents. The second episode was about Eric working on the house. He has a honey do list from Betty and just goes around and fixes stuff. He also took some of the kids with him to Home Depot. I cannot believe that Eric did a lot of the work on the addition to their home. He is such a likeable guy. I thought both episodes were very good.

This week on Table for 12, Betty and Eric Hayes took their ten children to the dentist at one time. The dentist had called them and told them that they had a spot for ten people so they decided to take him up on his offer and said that they would never do that again. I felt bad when little Rebecca was getting her teeth cleaned; she seemed so afraid. She is blind and has cerebral palsy and even Eric had to leave the room because her discomfort bothered him so much. Betty did a great job of helping Rebecca. I felt bad for her when she mentioned how is she going to pick Rebecca up and comfort her when she is sixteen and is so much bigger and heavier. This show is very real and show that not all multiples come home without birth defects. Kyle did have a cavity but the rest were okay. I thought that it was a great episode what did you all think?

This week on Table for 12, the Hayes family decided to take nine of their ten children bowling. Eric had the weeks off since it was Christmas break so they had a coupon and decided to take everyone bowling. They decided to leave Rebecca with her grandparents so that she would not have to just sit in her wheel chair for hours while the other children bowled. The kids did not really enjoyed bowling because they had to constantly wait for their turn and they could not bowl very well. Surprisingly, Connor who is four actually bowled much better than all of his brothers and sisters. The next part of the episode focused on the Hayes celebrating New Years Eve together. The Hayes allowed their older children to stay up until midnight; the younger kids stayed up until ten but they were too cranky so they had to go to bed.The older kids got to eat a lot of junk food and play games with their parents. They all seemed to have a lot of fun which is always nice to see. I thought that it was a very good episode.

This week on the newest episode of Table For 12, the Hayes family decided to take all of their kids including Rebecca ice skating.Little Rebecca was going to try and sit on a sled that was made for amputees but it did not have enough support for her since she is very floppy and cannot sit up straight on her own. Then, the parents decided that they would go and get some food before they had to drive all the way home. After they came home Betty decided to go out apparently she goes out once a month to have fun with her friends. She always feels guilty about it but even Eric told her not to fell guilty and to enjoy her adult time with her friends. Eric is a great husband he took care of the kids and put them to bed. Kevin left his CCD books in his mother’s cars which was locked. Then, the kids called Betty to say good night to her which I thought was very cute. I think that it was a very good episode. I really like this family and the series.

On the second new episode of Table for 12,the Hayes family focused on four year old Rebecca. Rebecca has cerebral palsy and is considered a low functioning child which means she cannot see or talk or even feed herself. Betty and Eric really love Rebecca a lot and wish that they could do something for her so that she could play with her brothers and sister and even feed herself. The family decided to go to Special Strides which is a horse farm for children who have special needs. The kids all seemed excited to see the horses and play with them. I think that it is great for children who have special needs to bond with animals. Rebecca was evaluated by an occupational therapist and a physical therapist. Betty said that she would like to see Rebecca not be as floppy and can sit up better and possibly drink from a straw. The therapists both said that Rebecca has good tone and would be a good candidate for riding a horse. It was amazing to see her actually be able to ride a horse. I hope that she will continue to progress. I think that it was a really good episode.

The first episode of last’s night’s new Table for 12 episodes focused on the Hayes and their ten kids at Christmas time. The children got to help their parents put together the Christmas tree and decorate which looked very fun. The Hayes parents went to see their kids at their preschool for their Christmas party. Eric Hayes is a police officer and it is good that his schedule allow him to go and partake in those important days in his children’s lives. My parents never came to my school events during the day because they were at work, many of the moms did but mine never did which is sad. The children seemed very excited about meeting Santa Claus. The actual Christmas day activities I can really relate to; each of the children got seven gifts and as soon as the boys got their little airplanes that shot foam darts they were disinterested. The little kids even helped little Rebecca open her Christmas presents. Betty seems especially brokenhearted about the fact that Rebecca will never talk or run and play with her brothers and sisters; it made me want to cry. I loved the opening of the boxes and the plastic ties that aggravate you. I have no idea why these toys have them, my son got little $4.00 toys and the thing was as secure as Fort Knox, it takes forever to get it free from the box. I thought the episode was good, what did you all think?

Okay, last night was the night that I have waited for for a while it was the day that Table for 12 premiered on TLC. For those who do not know, Table for 12 is about the Hayes family of New Jersey. The dad is named Eric and he is a police officer. The mom is named Betty and she is a stay at home mom. They have ten kids- Kevin, Kyle, Kiernan, Meghan, Connor, Tara, Rachel, EJ, Ryan and Rebecca who has cerebral palsy. The first episode was about Eric and the kids trying to make a special day for Betty because it was her birthday. The mom Betty is such a great wife and mom. I have to hand it to her she is such a patient person; she never yells and she takes really good care of everyone. She and Eric really try to include Rebecca in things even though she has cerebral palsy. The kids baked and decorated a cake for Betty. They also made cards for her. Eric bought her a gift certificate to a spa. Betty decided to take her daughter Meghan with her. Betty did not really like the spa but she was still grateful for the experience. The surprise went well and she loved her birthday video. I really liked this family and I will blog about the second episode on Wednesday.
