I watched the Real Housewives of Orange County on Tuesday January 6, 2009. The setting this episode was at the Del Mar race track. The ladies started out by hat shopping. Vicki was away at West Palm Beach. Jeana called Vicki because Michael and his friends were having a party while she was away. Lauren and Michael do not like Jeana very much. Michael said that Jeana should get off of her butt and sell Vicki’s house. Jeana also went to see her ex husband. She is now working for his real estate company. I think Jeana still has a thing for him even though he does currently have a girl friend. Gretchen got her sixty five thousand dollar engagement ring through I guess the postal service. I would think she would have picked it up at the jeweler since it is very expensive. She showed it off to Jeff’s kids. Tamra and Lauri had lunch and yet again discussed the issue at Javiers and Lake Havasu. Tamra is still trying to create drama and it annoys me. The ladies and their spouses went to the race track. Lynne and Gretchen went with their group and the others were in another limo. Vicki and Tamra were being rude to Gretchen and Lynne and Vicki was being disrespectful to Donn. I thought it was really rude.What did you think of the episode?

Has anyone else been frustrated with Tamra Barney’s behavior on the Bravo reality show the Real Housewives of Orange County? She is constantly showing her skin. She took her children to Lake Havasu where everyone is drinking and acting crazy. She even grabbed her husband’s how should I say this private parts in front of people which is inappropriate in my opinion. She pretends to be Gretchen’s friend and then bashes her behind her back and to her face. She makes drama and stirs up trouble wherever she goes. She claims to to be the hottest housewife but I really think Gretchen is a lot better looking and has a better personality than Tamra. Tamra is not happy unless she can make someone else miserable. I mean if you look at the situation in Lake Havasu, she was purposely trying to break up Jeana’s and Vicki’s friendship. She was all like Vicki, we will be best friends forever, and then made her pinky swear. I just think that they need to bring back Tammy Knickerbocker. She was a good friend to the ladies and made no drama.

The Real Housewives of Orange County had a new episode that aired on Tuesday. For a brief second we saw former housewife Jo De La Rosa and her on again off again boyfriend/ manager Slade Smiley. I miss Jo, she is a much better housewife than Lynne is. Lynne is annoying. The way she treats her daughters like they are friends aggravates me. It is like she is competing with her daughters. She made her fifteen year old daughter give up the dress she wanted to wear to her sister Raquel and the other dress was too short. Alexa’s boyfriend hurt her feelings and said that she looked like a stripper. Lynne did not even act like a mother, she acted like a girlfriend. Then, they gave the princess Raquel a car even though she has no license and basically demanded that her parents buy her a car.Tamra, another housewife who needs to go. The way she treated Gretchen was bad.She should not question her dedication to Jeff. She was classless as was Vicki talking to Lynne. Vicki needs to go she is annoying, noisy, and disrespectful to Donn. I did like that Kara has a job and is working hard at it. Jeff’s kids seem nice, his twenty year old daughter looks so much different than his other two kids. Maybe they have different moms, who knows? This episode made me re-think even watching this series anymore.

On the Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki Gunvalson and Jeana Keough have been cat fighting lately. This week, Jeana brought decorator friend Frankie to Lake Havasu. It was one hundred and twenty degrees there. Now, if we all remember correctly, Frankie owed Vicki money because he stayed in her home as a tenant. Frankie did not want to pay rent because he was living in a construction zone. Vicki freaked and was acting like she was in high school. Tamra also decided to play both sides. I did not feel bad for Vicki at all. Jeana can be friends with whoever she wants. Vicki wants to control everyone and everything. She treats Donn horribly and tries to control her children’s lives even though they are both over the age of twenty one. Vicki does not own Lake Havasu, in fact she said she was over Havasu because she wanted to sell her Lake Havasu house and buy a nine hundred and fifty thousand dollar yacht. I like Frankie, he is always there for Jeana and I think Jeana needs to drop Vicki as a friend.

I watched the Real Housewives of Orange County. Part of it took place in orange County and the other part took place at Lake Havasu in Arizona. Vicki again made life all about her. Vicki really aggravates me, she thinks she is the leader of the housewives. In my opinion, Jeana is the leader. I really disliked Tamra too for making trouble between Vicki and Jeana. Now, Tamra is Vicki’s best friend forever. I also did not like the new housewife Lynne. She tries to be a friend to her teen aged daughters when they need structure and discipline.Gretchen went to Lake Bass with her family. She seems to have a nice grounded family. Vicki got hit in the head with a football. Tamra freaked because Ryan had a tattoo inside of his mouth. Surprisingly, Simon defended Ryan’s tattoos and said at least he has a job and does not do drugs. I think that Vicki needs to chill. I mean it is okay for Jeana to have other friends and any differences that you have with Frankie should have been handled a long time ago.

On Tuesday, I watched the new episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County. We met the new housewife whose name is Lynne. She has two teen aged daughter a fifteen year old and a daughter who is eighteen years old in two weeks.She seems like a nice person, not a lot of drama which I am grateful for. Tonight I guess absentee fathers was the topic for the ladies. We saw Ritchie with Colton getting ready for the prom. We also saw Simon taking Kara to the gun range. Should Kara really have a gun at Berkeley? I mean it is a college and I think they are banned.  Gretchen and Tamra went out to lunch together. I like Gretchen a lot she seems like such a nice person, her burlesque party was not my taste, but at least she enjoys her life and loves Jeff and took good care of him. While Vicki, Tamra, and Jeana were at lunch they discussed Vicki’s ex husband  Mike. Jeana defended Mike because Vicki moved from Chicago to California which made it very hard for her kids to have a relationship with their father. Briana seems to have taken it really hard that she has no real relationship with her father. I felt very bad for her. I also felt bad for Tamra who was frustrated when Ryan did not become a California Highway Patrol officer. She really felt like she had raised him poorly and regretted many of her parenting choices. I thought that it was a good episode.

This week we saw Lauri Waring Peterson leave the Real Housewives of Orange County. I am pretty sure that  she will be back on the show next season. She seems to harp on Josh’s drug problems. I personally would not exploit my son’s drug addiction on television. I think that Lauri basically wrote Josh off as soon as she met George. She is harping abut taking care of seven kids but her three kids two of who are adults and one who I believe is ten or eleven are not babies. I mean George has a son that does not live with him, Mackenzie is nineteen, and Bria is the same age as Sophie. She did not leave the show to care for her family. George’s kids have a mother. I think this had more to do with her getting a lot of bad press the last few years. I think that the Duggar’s Seventeen Kids and Counting is over for the season. I know they will do a special about Josh’s wedding in January. I think Michelle will have her baby in about two weeks. I like this show and I think that they should add a second season of it.

This week we say good bye to Lauri. I doubt she will be gone for good. I think she will return next season. Cringe worthy moment number one goes to Jeana for telling Uncle Richie and Cara that Matt had a great body and was great in bed. Who else thought too much information Jeana? Second cringe worthy moment, Tamra in lingerie. It was very uncomfortable to see. Vicki, Donn, Tamra, and Simon went to Napa Valley for Tamra and Simon’s tenth wedding anniversary. Vicki really needs to get a life. I mean she put Donn down for not being loving to her. She travels without him, says she wants to be single and offers him no affection and then places the blame on him. She was trying to have Tamra and Simon feel bad for her but I do not feel bad for Vicki at all. Gretchen went with Jeff to Indianapolis for the Indy 500 weekend. She really seemed to enjoy herself. Lauri said she is turning off the cameras for a while. Hopefully, Josh is okay and gets out of jail and can straighten his life out.

The Real Housewives of Orange County is always a hot topic on many message boards. Many people write snarky things about the housewives, especially Vicki Gunvalson and Lauri Waring Peterson. I think that Vicki needs to actually watch the show. I mean she comes off as an annoying person who is ungrateful. She has money and yet is unhappy and always wants what she can’t have. She has a great husband but wants to be single so she can date and be free. I mean she should be grateful that Donn married her and yet she treats him very badly. Vicki thinks just because she has her own insurance business and makes money that she can do or say whatever she wants to Donn. I do not think that they are equal partners. Can you imagine trying o buy a yacht and sell your husband’s favorite home behind his back? I mean come on. Lauri says she has seven kids to take care of. She has two kids of her own that are out of the house. I believe George has a few older children also. George has an ex-wife, who is the mother of his kids so I doubt they are all living udner one roof. I doubt Lauri actually does any parenting either since she’s the step mom and we never see her interact with the kids. I like Gretchen. I read that she was a top real estate agent for Coldwell Banker. I was sorry to hear that her fiance, Jeff passed away. I do think that she cared about him. I read Vicki’s blog she did not seem to think that Gretchen loved Jeff, she also said she’d pray for her. Didn’t Vicki say that she left her first husband because he could not give her the finer things in life? Isn’t that kind of gold digger behavior? I think Donn out earned Vicki for a while because she did want a man who could financially support her kids well. I like Jeana a lot. I am on the fence about Shane and Kara. I think they need to see more of the world. She should have been grateful that she got into Berkley not bash its students. What can I say about Tamra? She seems fun but she  is trying to be the hottest housewife and that lingerie fashion show thing that she did was not sexy to me. She looked desperate to be on camera. I liked Tammy Knickerbocker. She was a great housewife. I was sad that she decided to exit the series but I think the show’s producers wanted more drama. I want her and Duff to get back together. He is such a nice guy. I liked her daughters too. They did not conform to the Orange County ways, sadly their father Lou died. Now, they do not have his inheritance. I thought most rich men with kids had wills but I guess not. His Tai wife got everything and gave nothing to Lindsay and Megan. They were a cute family. There is supposed to be another new housewife int he next two weeks.I wonder what she will be like. If she says woo-hoo! I am out of there. What do you all think of the Real Housewives of Orange County?

Last night, I watched the Real House wives of Orange County. I felt bad for Donn, Vicki is a horrible wife. I mean she takes a family vacation and does not ask her spouse to come along? I mean come on, he is family. She said he would be a diversion from their family time. Then, she threw it in his face that he never adopted her kids Briana and Mike. They have a father, and Vicki was trying to be spiteful by saying she would invited Mike, their biological dad to a barbecue in Chicago. Donn was very offended. he helped to raise Vicki’s kids and Mike did not help I guess. Vicki is just a huge ingrate in my opinion. Then she forces her kids  to go to Puerto Vallerta when Briana was puking all night and Mike had just come back from Costa Rica and wanted to stay home. Jeana made a short sell. It is sad that so many people have to do short sells and make no money. Tamra said that Simon quit his job to start his own business. I doubt that he did. Who would leave a lucrative job like that? He did not even say what type of business he had started.Tamra and Simon have been married ten years so she took a friend lingerie shopping and did a fashion show in the store. Jeane invited the girls to the spa. They were pretty catty about Gretchen. Lauri acted all high and mighty but I don’t think they should have bashed Gretchen. Grecthen already loathes Vicki. Vicki seems to think she’s the leader of the women, sorry Vicki that title belongs to Jeana. Next week, I think Lauri says good bye to the show.
