This week the Real World/ Road Rules Challenge: The Duel 2 premiered. This challenge is set in the country of New Zealand. Drama was the name of the game as the drama started with CT, Adam, and Diem. Now, CT and Diem are not together I guess Diem wanted to split with CT after his display the last time he was on a challenge. She wants to focus on her career and get married when she is thirty years old. However, Shauvon and CT were on the roof doing something which most of the cast mates thought was them having sex and felt bad for Diem. The cast mates were whispering about it and Adam was talking to CT when suddenly the two got into a knock down fight. It was very bad and bloody. Both CT and Adam were sent home because of their fight.During the after show, Shauvon said that she did not have sex with CT, they only made out but she had partied and done appearances with him before. CT said he was angry coming into the challenge because his brother had been shot and killed during a fight. Diem and CT are done according to each other.MJ and Nehemiah arrived to replace Adam and CT on the challenge. The challenge was sort of a rugby challenge. Robin was the winner for the girls and Evan was the winner for the guys. Robin picked MJ first and in the end Ryan was picked last as was Shauvon. Ryan went into the duel against Nick who had a hurt hand and beat him so Nick got sent home. Next week, we will see the Aneesa/Shauvon duel. This week on the Real Housewives of NYC a lot was going on. We got to see Jill’s finished condo. I have to say that the apartment was very busy and I did not like the pop tables. Everyone has their own personal taste but I think Jill should have reigned in Brad more so that her own personal taste came through. Bethenny thought that the apartment was too much but she herself said that she has very simple taste. Bethenny met with Alex about helping her with her company’s logo. Before that, she bashed Simon and Alex and even visited their family’s website. The Countess visited a girls club in Brooklyn. I think her heart was in the right place but she told an overweight ten year old girl that wanted to be a model that she has time to lose weight. She also told the Countess story again. I do not think that the story is inspiring because it is not like being elected to public office, she married a person with a title. Jill’s tennis pro dropped out of their match so Bethenny had a great idea which was to have Simon play in the doubles match. Simon was sick at the time and said that he is not a very good tennis player but he did try his hardest. Mario was none too happy about the tennis match and the fact that Simon played, in the end the Singers did win but it is not like anyone cared because they knew it was not exactly a fair game.

This week, a new episode of the TLC show the Duggars 18 Kids and Counting aired. The episode focused around a terrible ice storm that hit Arkansas during the winter. The Duggars were without power for days and a big tree even came down and smashed their shed. The kids were very rambunctious but Kim Bob and Michelle seemed very level headed. A man named David who was with the camera crew braved the ice storm to get baby Jordyn some diapers. I thought that this was incredibly nice of him. He even got stuck on a closed road but the firefighters helped get him out and he made it back to the Duggar home. We also learned that at the time of the filming that Grandpa Duggar had only a few days to live. I am glad that he got to spend his last few days at his son’s home and be around his grandkids. During the commercial break we saw that Anna hopes to be pregnant and is taking a few pregnancy tests. I doubt that she is actually pregnant since it would have been news by now.The most scary part was that Jordyn fell ill and had to go to the hospital. I amglad that everything turned out all right for the family. What did you all think of this episode?

Last night, I was watching TLC and there was a promo for a Jon and Kate Plus 8 Special with one of the men I believe his name is Steve Thomas from This Old House. Apparently, the Gosselins are going to renovate their house and make it more eco-friendly. I think that eco friendly homes are great if you can afford it though. I hope that this inspires other people to do the same thing. Energy costs are very high; where I live we have electric heat and it costs about five hundred dollars a month during the winter and summer. For those who want to watch the new episode, the promo said that it will be on April 19, 2009 which is exactly two weeks from last Sunday. I do not know if it marks the start of the fifth season but I’d doubt it since they just aired the season finale a few weeks ago.

This week on the newest episode of Table For 12, the Hayes family decided to take all of their kids including Rebecca ice skating.Little Rebecca was going to try and sit on a sled that was made for amputees but it did not have enough support for her since she is very floppy and cannot sit up straight on her own.Then, the parents decided that they would go and get some food before they had to drive all the way home. After they came home Betty decided to go out apparently she goes out once a month to have fun with her friends. She always feels guilty about it but even Eric told her not to fell guilty and to enjoy her adult time with her friends. Eric is a great husband he took care of the kids and put them to bed. Kevin left his CCD books in his mother’s cars which was locked. Then, the kids called Betty to say good night to her which I thought was very cute. I think that it was a very good episode. I really like this family and the series.

Now, I have not watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians long; I started watching it two weeks ago and I decided to finally write a blog posting about it today. This week’s episode focused on Kim Kardashian getting a perfume deal. She was very excited about it and decided to call her perfume Dashing by Kim Kardashian. This angered Kourtney and Khloe who own their shop Dash and wanted to make a perfume with all three of them and were mad and even threatened to sue Kris and Kim. One thing that I find strange is that some of the girls call their mother Kris instead of mom. Maybe someone can fill me in on why they do this because I have not watched the previous seasons of the show. I think Kim is the most famous of the Kardashian daughters and it made sense for her to get her perfume deal and then eventually if it is profitable to do another one with her sisters. Then, Kris decided to go and spend time with Bruce because he hates to go to clubs and events. I can understand his point of view;sixty year old men do not want to go clubbing. I mean I cannot see my Grandma at those types of events either. Kris decided to go and fly helicopters with him and go mountain biking but that did not go well. Kylie told her to go motorcycle riding which actually was a great idea. I think that the show was okay. I will watch next week and blog about it again!

This weekend, I have been seeing various people bashing LuAnn aka Countess De Lesseps for getting divorced from the Count. I think that people need to be sensitive to her situation. Divorce is hard especially when you have two children who are in their teen aged years. LuAnn may be on television and be on a reality tv show but her personal life especially her divorce should stay between her and her estranged husband. I am always amazed at how cruel people can be some have said that LuAnn deserves a divorce because of her behavior on the show. I actually feel bad for LuAnn because she is a society wife and married a man who is never around and is always out of the country on business matters. It must be very lonely to have your husband be away all the time even if you are very wealth and hold a title.I think we all need to be respectful and think about what it would feel like if we were in the same kind of situation.

Okay, as we all know the Real World: Brooklyn came to a close this week. This season of the Real World had its moments such as Katelynn’s story, JD’s out burst, Ryan’s war back ground, and all of the pranks between the guys and the girls. At the reunion you could really see that the guys still do not like the girls. Ryan even used the b-word to describe Sarah which I thought was very uncalled for. Ryan is going to Iraq he arrived to the reunion in his uniform and has been doing more training before being re-deployed to Iraq. He and Belle broke up and now he is dating Baya which is kind of surprising since she was not featured a lot during this season of the Real World. Chet has now also moved to New York City because he has connections there and wants to get into the music industry and host shows. I think that the next season of the Real World needs to relieve bring uniqueness. The last few years the show has not been as interesting.

On the season finale of the Real World: Brooklyn, the cast mates said good bye to each other. Scott, Baya, and Devyn decided to rent a place together and would stay in Brooklyn to focus on their respective careers. The girls decided to play one last prank on the guys. JD looked on and he has been playing both sides this season. The ladies out dog food in the cereal and put dish washing soap in the milk. The boys decided to get back at the girls and JD claimed that the girls were blackmailing him. I think this season the person with the most powerful story was Ryan, his story was really the entire focus of this season. I would have thought that Katelynn would have been the focus of this installment of the Real World series but her story basically fizzled out after a few episodes as did Sarah’s back story of abuse. I really would have liked there to be more focus on the other cast mates and their back stories and lives.There was also a reunion show and I will blog about that tomorrow. This week on the new episode of Hell’s Kitchen, the word was culinary chaos my friends! The challenge was to choose a dish that you thought was the best and present it to Chef Ramsay. The first two dishes were duds and then it came down to Paula versus Danny. In the end,  Danny won so the blue team won the challenge. They got to go in a Hummer limo to Santa Monica Beach with Chef Ramsay. The guys got on segways all except Robert who had to take a bike because he weighs too much. I have to say I watch Kitchen Nightmare on BBC and Gordon puts a prime on physical fitness so I do not know if he would hire Robert but we will have to see what happens. The red team had to clean the dorms and cook a bunch of king crabs before dinner service as their punishment. Then, they were told to make their own menus which were very similar to each other. Dinner service was awful; Ben was awful as was Carol who ruined her potatoes. Chef Ramsay was none too happy with Ben or Carol and he was very aggravated. It was just chaotic and horrible; he eventually shut it down. He told Danny to nominate on person but in a surprising twist he sent Carol packing which made Andrea very happy.
