This week on the Real World Brooklyn, the topic was the war and it was election day. Chet and Scott were the only ones who voted for John McCain. Chet said that he wished Mitt Romney was president. Chet also had a life sized cut out of himself made at Fairway. The roommates attended an Election Day party at Subway. Ryan wore an Uncle Sam outfit and was elated that Barack Obama was elected president while Chet and Scott pouted and felt out of place. The room mates deiced to prank Chet and Scott; they put Obama’s face onto Chet’s cutout and Ryan painted Scott’s fingernails while he slept. Chet was not too happy and said his cut out was art although all he did was pose for a picture. Ryan walked in a Veteran’s Day parade; he also took the roommates to a banquet for veterans. Katelynn got to dress up for the banquet and she loved it. Ryan got recalled to service and will be heading to Fort Jackson in February. He was heartbroken. I feel very bad for Ryan hopefully he is okay since it is March and he would have been re-deployed right now.

In this week’s episode of Hell’s Kitchen, chaos was the word. The challenge this week was to go head to head and create great dishes. Giovanni is now on the red team and in the end it was tied and came down to him and Ben. In the end, the red team won and got to go to the race track with Chef Ramsay. The blue team’s punishment was to prep both kitchens and clean and polish all of the new dishes. Jay had a terrible dinner service as did Carol and Ben. Jay was told to leave the kitchen and Ben was pulled aside to talk to Chef Ramsay. Paula was complimented on her wellingtons. Jay screwed up the service by ruining the rice for the risotto for both kitchens so risotto was taken of of the menu for the night. In the end, the red team finished getting all of their tickets out first which was not surprising because the blue team was awful. Giovanni on the red team was the best of the night and was a great leader. In the end, it came down to Lacey and Ben but both were given a second chance because Jay was sent home.

On this week’s episode of The Duggars 18 Kids and Counting, two of the Duggar girls and Jordyn went with Jim Bob and Michelle to New York to be on the television show “The View”. While they were away Grandma Duggar stayed with the kids and the older children worked on a special project for their mother, Michelle. They decided to redecorate her bathroom. Jana and John David who are twins basically took the project by the horns. They went shopping and picked out a new mirror, candles,a shower curtain, a disco ball and other home accessories. The kids watched their parents and siblings on the View. Joy Anna shielded the boys from seeing women who are not modestly dressed. I guess the Duggars use the word Nike as a code word so that the boys shield their eyes from certain women when they are out and about. Michelle said this is because the eyes are the door to the heart. In the end, Michelle really loved her bathroom and the kids did a great job on their DIY project.

Last night on the Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny went on a date with a chef. She had a good date but she said he was not second date material. LuAnn was the topic of discussion for Bethenny and Ramona. LuAnn was a little sad about Victoria heading off to boarding school, but at least she will be home on the weekends. Luann saw Alex and Simon at a party and made a remark about the fact that they were writing a book when she herself is writing a book. Kelly invited Luann to her home and Top Chef contestant Sam Talbot cooked for them and Kelly’s two daughters. Jill was mad that Brad had removed all of her furniture and her wall unit from her condo without talking to her first. Jill also visited Alex and Simon at their home which is under construction and atrocious. I cannot believe how cluttered and bad it is especially considering that their children are under the age of five.I would not have my kids in a work zone. What did you think of this episode?

Last night on Ax Men, Dwayne quit because his boss Mike Phil basically sold him out. Mike had told him to just leave the trees as they were and not buck them which angered site boss Keith Morris. I can really sympathize with him; his boss lied about what he had told him to do. Dwayne is a great tree cutter and really looks out for his son Dustin who is on the rigging and really would make a good site boss. This week, we got to see the heli-loggers in action. Conner Aviation looks like a pretty interesting tree cutting outfit. Heli logging is dangerous and they had a helicopter accident nine months ago so they were out of business for nine months and lost hundreds of thousands of dollars. The Rygaard crew has been training greenhorn Brad Hewitt. He has a degree in environmental science but he just is not doing well at his job. I have to give it to these loggers, I mean they are really rugged; Brad is young and athletic and even he cannot do the same things that his co-workers do. Craig had a fire in his piece of equipment and Gabe came running with a fire extinguisher and saved the piece of equipment from being destroyed. In the end, Dwayne came back to work and he and Levi helped them clear 35 loads of timber for the week.If you haven’t watched Ax Men before then I suggest that you do ; it is very interesting.

Last night on the Amazing Race 14, the teams were racing in Russia. Everyone knew that Margie and Luke used the blind u turn on Amanda and Kris. The detours was Russian bride or snow plow. In Russian bride, the teams had to travel into a lada car which is very slow, go to an apartment and find a Russian bride and bring her to the church to meet her groom. Then, the couple would have their picture taken together and get their next clue. In snow plow, they had to travel in their cars to Stadium Spartak where each team had to drive a snow plow and keep their partner in the left lane. The roadblock was very interesting. One of the team members had to find a couple of marathon runners, strip down to their underwear and run 1.4 miles in the cold. During the race, we saw that Tammy and Victor are users. They said they were traveling with Margie and Luke and Jamie and Cara but stiffed them when they were getting directions. In the end, Margie and Luke were team number one. Christy and Jodi were the last team to arrive but got a break this leg of the race.

Table for 12 is a new reality show on TLC. It will air on March 23, 2009. It follows the Hayes family who have ten children; they have two sets of twins and one set of sextuplets. One of their sextuplets daughters has I believe cerebral palsy. Sadly, this shows that not all multiples are healthy after birth. I am actually excited to see this show. The husband I believe was a cop and is a school resource officer. TLC loves big families; I mean they show the Duggars, the Gosselins, and now the Hayes. I am anxious to see how this mother handles all of her children and her special needs child at the same time. I hope they stay true to real reality and do not constantly go on trips or have both parents stay home. We met the Hayes in their one hour special and I am hoping that their reality show is just as good. What do you all think about this new show?

On this week’s episode of Hell’s Kitchen, the contestants were catering a Bar Mitzvah celebration for a thirteen year old boy. The challenge this week was to produce three dishes for the boy’s mother and grandmother. They had to produce a hamburger, a brisket, and a soup. The blue team won because Carol put blue cheese on her burger which I guess is not kosher. The team got to go to a spa and have spa treatments. The red team had to prep all of the food and put together the floor which was basketball parquet. Dinner service was okay, nothing spectacular Koi had problems and both teams had issues. Jean Phillipe had to work with a party planner and the cake got smashed. The highlight of the night at least for the party goers was the fun that the boy had and he got to play basketball with the Harlem Globetrotters. In the end, the blue team won; for some reason Chef Ramsay thought that Andrea was the best of the worst which was very shocking. Andrea nominated Koi and LA; why she picked LA I will never know she must be jealous of how good of a chef she is. In the end, Chef Ramsay sent Koi home because he said she just was not a strong chef.

Last night, on VH1’s Celebrity Rehab Sober House, the season finale aired. Most of the residents met with Doctor Drew for their final sessions before leaving his care. Steven Adler tested positive for marijuana. He met with his wife, friends, and bail bondsman with Doctor Drew. He made some mean comments about divorcing his wife Carolina and decided to go back to Las Encinas Hospital for more treatment. Amber got a sublet apartment. This is the first time that she is living on her own without her mother Carol being around. Carol was addicted to opiates and that got Amer addicted. Carol got sober after meeting with Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab Two. Doctor Drew had a designer come in and turn Rodney’s home into a sober living house. Rodney was very grateful for what Dr. Drew did for him. Andy met with Lucas and apologized to him. Dr. Drew did not think that the apology was very sincere. Hopefully, Andy can be a better role model for his kids. Seth went to see producer George Clinton and played a gig. This season of Sober House has come to an end. I really think that Rodney will stay clean. I want the rest to succeed but they did not seem as committed to sobriety as Rodney was. What did you all think of this season of Sober House?

Last night on the Real World : Brooklyn, the roommates got to attend a special screening of the movie Pedro. Pedro was on the Real World and was a gay man who had AIDS. He was an advocate for the cause and sadly he died after the series aired its final episode. An MTV executive asked the eight roommates to put together a screening of the movie for the public, find a venue, and raise awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention. There needed to be two hosts; Chet wanted to be a host but six of the eight roommates said he was not qualified for the job because he has never had sex before. JD wanted to have the event at the LBGT community center but the roommates said no because they wanted to have the event at the New York Film Academy.I don’t know why you would want to pay to have the party instead of get the venue for free. Katelynn and JD were the hosts; the movie screening went okay. Scott was ticked off that instead of attending his birthday Katelynn chose to go go dance. Katelynn is broke and needed money. This caused Scott to start his juvenile antics about cleaning again. Scott must really like Katelynn. Katelynn was going to go home because she is broke but Scott offered to help her out. It was a good episode of the show; what did you all think?
