On this week’s episode of Sober House, Steven Adler was arrested for possession of heroin. His bail bondsman bonded him out but said he would only take him out if he went to Los Encinas Hospital for drug treatment and detox. Jennifer had a hard time dealing with her decision to call the cops on Steven, but Will told her that it was the right decision to make. most of the residents were asleep when the cops took Steven away so they did not know exactly what had transpired.  Doctor Drew decided to have a group session including Jennifer to discuss the night’s events. Nikki and Amber had a real attitude towards Jennifer, they said they did not feel safe living in a home where they could be arrested at any time. Then, the residents decided to go out for a night on the town. Jen and Will thought this was a very bad idea. Rodney decided to go out to dinenr with Jen and a few of the rehab counselors. Jen thinks he will end up being the one person who successfully kicks his addiction. Mary Carey decided to go out with her boyfriend David. David kept making jokes about drugs and her sobriety. They were even bashing those in the house including Jen who take medications. David even showed Mary booze. I do not know if Mary will be able to kick her addiction if the people around her want her to fail. Shifty was out very late and did not call, the other residents thought he was doing drugs, but Jen gave him a breathalyzer test and he was clean. It was a very roguh start for the Sober House residents, hopefully it will get betterfor them in the future.

This week’s Top Chef focused on the Super Bowl. The quickfire involved using oats and other products to make a dish. Stefan won the quickfire challenge. Hosea said he regretted cheating on his girl friend. The elimination challenge involved each chef selecting a foot ball team and then using those team’s regional products from a cooler to make a meal. The catch is that they would be cooking a meal in twenty minutes head to head against an All Star team of chefs. The chefs included: Andrea, Camille, Josie, Andrew, Spike, Miguel, and I cannot remember the seventh person. Andrea beat the pants off of Stefan and Stefan even though his pride was hurt was flirting with Andrea. Carla made a great jambalaya and ended up winning the entire elimination challenge. I am proud of Carla, I think that she did a great job and she is such a nice person. She at least got a good chance to redeem herself. In the end, it was between Fabio and Jeff for elimination. Fabio should have gone home because he overcooked his venison but in the end, Jeff was asked to pack his knives and go. I felt so bad for Jeff. What did you think of  the episode?

I watched the two new episodes of the Duggars 18 Kids and Counting. Jim Bob and Michelle took a vacation to San Francisco for their 25th wedding anniversary. At the times, Michelle was thirty two weeks pregnant and it was Halloween. Grandma Duggar was watching the kids. Jim Bob revealed that his father has a brain tumor. I feel bad for him, hopefully he will recover. Jim Bob and Michelle were going to speak at a church in San Francisco. Before they left, Michelle divulged that Jim Bob uses two cans of hair spray a month on his hair. This is a lot of hairspray, my mom loved hairspray and only went through one a month. Michelle was a little sea sick on the boat ride. They visited a hippie shop. They were nice to the patrons though and Jim Bob gave money to a guitar player on the street. They had a nice time together and the kids were a little rambunctious but they pretty much behaved for Grandma Duggar. The next episode was about the Duggars going to a safari to volunteer to help feed the animals. Michelle and the three youngest Duggar kids did not go since it is dangerous to have small kids around huge animals. John David worked very hard shoveling the bread. I think that it is good that the Duggars volunteer. Children should try and help other, it teaches them to be grateful for what they have.

I watched the latest episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County.Vicki and Jeana went back to Chicago, which is Vicki’s hometown. Vicki was very happy and kept calling all of her old friends her people. Vicki was sort of flirting with guys, including her friend’s husband and the mentioned that her boobs wanted to come out. Donn did call her after that but they did not show a lot of the phone call in the restaurant and there was a lot of noise and people around. What really shocked me about this episode was the way that Shane and Colton talk to their mother. Shane talked about hitting his mother with a bat and basically threatened her life. Colton was telling her not to eat an ice cream at the baseball game. Jeana and Vicki went to Illinois to go see the Kane County Cougars and Shane text them as they were heading to the game and told them not to come. His behavior was awful, his mom even flew his girlfriend and Colton out to see him, he should have been grateful. The housewives went to dinner with former OC housewife Kimberly Bryant and her young son Travis. Lynne threw a cocktail party and Raquel kept sneaking the drinks. Tamra took her mom to get a face lift. I thought all of the flirting aside that Vicki was a good friend to Jeana this week. She was really bothered by the boys’ behavior towards their mom and you could tell that it really hurt her. What did you think?

Last night, I watched the new episode of Jon and Kate Plus Eight. They decided to show their eight kids their new home. The home has a lot of acreage and has  four bedrooms. Hannah will get her own room, Cara and Mady will share a room, Alexis and Leah will share a room,  Jon and Kate have a room, and the three boys will share a room. The house has smaller bedrooms and a bigger living area. There is also an outhouse and a barn. The kids found a flattened dead mouse. The house had issues with the fridge being dirty, Kate was scrubbing it for hours. Mady and Cara decided to have their room be blue. Based on the fact that the house had issues with it being dirty, it would not surprise me if the house had been a foreclosure. There was still a tractor there too. Most people would keep their tractor, not leave it at their old house. The house probably costs a lot more than their current one since it has more bedrooms and more acreage. They did not talk about selling their old home so maybe they are renting it out, I do not know.What did you think of this week’s episode?

Last night, A Very Duggar Wedding aired on TLC. TLC aired a half hour episode of the show before the one hour wedding special. The first episode involved Josh and Anna doing wedding preparations with the older Duggar girls and the Keller girls. The Duggar girls and Josh traveled to central Florida to help out with the wedding preparations. Jessa took engagement photographs of Joshua and Anna. Josh took his sisters out to an Italian restaurant for a last dinner. Jana talked about all of them maybe having five kids each and getting together for family nights or something after they are all married. The waiter was a very interesting man. Why would you have to discuss the fact that you are waiting to have sex until your wedding day with your waiter? It was just weird. Anna and the girls made the bridesmaid dresses. They were dark blue, and had a slit of white. The dresses were very beautiful. The Keller’s church helped out a lot with the food and the decorations. Jim Bob kind of creeped me out with the talk of Lego’s and giving Josh a book and dvd about your wedding night. I felt bad for Michelle when she cut Josh’s hair for the last time, now he will have his wife do it. Mr. Keller also kind of is odd by saying he is transferring his authority of Anna to Josh. I mean this is not a sale, it is a wedding. Amy and the boys put saran wrap around the car and wrote on it. They did not know that Josh had the ring in the center console so they had to get it out without ruining the decorations. During the ceremony,they also were missing a ring so they needed to send someone to get it. The wedding was nice and the night ended with them going to a motel room. Tonight, TLC will air a special about Joshua Duggar’s wedding to Anna Keller. This is the first time that a Duggar child will get married. Josh and Anna are both twenty years old. Anna lives in Florida and Josh lives in Arkansas. She moved to Arkansas after the wedding. This special has been hyped a lot by TLC. The Duggars do not allow their children to kiss anyone before they are married. Josh and Anna have said numerous times that they are excited about their first kiss and their wedding night. I think that it would be stressful to kiss someone for the first time in front of everyone at a wedding and a television camera crew. I believe that Michelle Duggar was still pregnant with her eighteenth baby during the wedding. I believe that Anna was in the last special which welcomed baby Jordyn and mentioned something about not picking their letter yet.  I think that the special will be quite interesting, will you watch?

Last Monday, there was a new episode of Jon and Kate Plus eight. The Gosselins and the crew were answering questions about the reality show. They said that right now they are not thinking of having any more kids or adopting any more kids. They also said they think it is funny that people do not think that they work because doing all that they do to promote the show is hard and takes more than forty hours a week. Kate has also written her second book. Kate constantly whines about her kids, but those kids are basically paying for that huge house that they just purchased. They film three days a week, their kids go to school and preschool yet neither one wants to hold down a steady job. Kate seems to think that promoting yourself and your show is a job. It is not a job that takes two people. I doubt that Jon and Kate are spending forty hours a week each doing press. I had my husband watch the show. He leaves the room whenever Kate yells at Jon. He does not understand why Jon lets Kate talk to him that way. Most guys would agree with that statement. I think that TLC should try and follow the family with two sets of twins and the sextuplets. The family also has a disabled daughter which would show the other side of high end multiples, where there are problems. I think people need to understand how hard it is for parents to cope with having a disabled child. What did you think of the episode?

Last night, I watched the new episode of Celebrity Rehab Sober House. The group was still reeling from Steven Adler bringing heroin and needles to the sober house. They met with Dr. Drew for a group session. Steven complained about house manager Jennifer. Steven even talked about kicking her in the face and the other residents laughed which I thought was very disrespectful. I did not know that Jennifer was a runway model. Apparently, she was an international model and began modeling at the age of fourteen. Jennifer decided to have a barbecue where the residents could have fun and invite their family members and friends to the house.Mary Carey invited her manager/ boyfriend David Weintraub.He was last seen on the Date My Ex show with Jo De La Rosa of the Real Housewives of Orange County. Mary also invited Tiny Lister. Mary showed them her room and Jennifer had to ask them to leave the room. Tiny had quite an attitude and began mouthing off at Jennifer. Everyone could tell that Steven was loaded at the party. Bob Forrest came to visit the residents and talked with Carolina Adler who is Steven’s wife. Will and Jennifer confronted him and Will found a pipe in the bath tub. Steven became agitated and started wandering around the house, slamming doors, and being confrontational. Then, the lights went out and Jennifer asked everyone to leave. She started crying after calling the police to have Steven arrested.

Last night I watched the new episode of Top Chef. This episode was restaurant wars. The contestants had a quickfire. It was to prepare a signature dish for Mr. Starr who is a high end restaurateur. Radhika and Leah won the quickfire challenge so they were chosen as the owners of the restaurants. Leah chose an Asian restaurant called Sunset Lounge. Radhika chose to call her restaurant Sahana. Radhika was the front of the house. Fabio was the front of the house for his team. Leah did not cook her fish thoroughly. The only highlight of her team’s dinner service was Stefan’s desserts. Radhika was terrible at the front of the house. Fabio was brilliant at front of the house for his team. Carla botched the desserts for her team. In the end, Radhika was sent home.Stefan won the elimination challenge because of his great desserts. Next week, some of the previous seasons chefs will face off with this season’s contestants. It looks like it will be an interesting episode.
