I have watched the Real Housewives of Orange County since it premiered on the Bravo network. I have to say I wish that hey would not film Vicki Gunvalson any more. She annoys me to no end. I mean she treats her husband Don  like dirt and openly says that she wishes she was single. I mean  can you imagine saying that about your spouse on television? I doubt she even apologized to Donn. Now she wants to sell their Havasu home, which Donn loves so she can buy a yacht for herself. I am betting that Vicki thinks that because she makes more money than Donn that she can do and say whatever she pleases. I really think Jeana and Donn would be a good pair. She sees how nice Donn is and after being married to Matt for so long she understands that you need a good husband. I really think Vicki likes making money not to provide for her kids and husband, but to have it to use to control them and hold it over their heads. Donn needs an equal partner and I feel bad for him, he deserves to be treated better.

A few days I heard about a scandal involving my favorite television chef.His name is Gordon Ramsay and he works in the United States and all over Europe. The newspapers have been reporting that Gordon Ramsay is cheating on his wife Tana with a woman named Sarah Symonds. Sarah wrote a book about being the other woman. This scandal has caused quite a stir all over Europe where the Ramsay family lives. Tana Ramsay even cancelled her family’s very expensive Christmas holiday because people are always around the family asking questions. This scandal is stupid in my opinion, why is it the press’s business if Gordon Ramsay is cheating on his wife of twelve years or not? I love his shows. I even have seen his English shows when I had the BBC channel. I really think he cares about his family. It is the holiday season and his wife and kids must be feeling awful. Hopefully, the press will stop harassing the Ramsay family soon. I mean this is a marital matter, not a public matter. Whether Gordon did cheat or not, he still is good entertainment on television. We should all respect their privacy.

I watched Top Chef on Wednesday November 26th on the Bravo Network. This week was Thanksgiving week on Top Chef. The quickfire challenge was first. The contestants had to draw knives. The knives had numbers on them. These were numbers that were page numbers from the Top Chef cook book. The contestants had to put a new spin on the recipes of former Top Chef contestants. They started frantically to finish,when half way through Padma Lakshmi says that she and the guest  judge want soup. Now they must turn their recipes into soups. Thy are given Swanson broth to help them make their soups. The top three in the quickfire challenge are Leah, Jamie, and Danny. Leah wins the quickfire and is given immunity for the next challenge. The contestants then get a video message from the Foo Fighters. The Foo Fighter are big fans of the show. They want the chefs to split up into two teams and cook the band and their entourage a Thanksgiving meal. Leah picks first she selects- Radhika, Stefan, Fabio, Jami, Hosea, and Melissa. The rest of the contestants are team cougar, Leah’s team is team sexy pants. Ariane cooked great turkey even though she only had microwaves and a toaster oven. Team Sexypants won for their great vegan stuffing and desserts. They got to go watch the Foo Fighters play and the other team had to do dishes and clean up. In the end, Richard was eliminated for his smores.

The Real Housewives of Orange County started its new season on Tuesday night. We met the newest housewife Gretchen. She is thirty and pretty good looking. She was engaged to a man named Jeff who made his millions in the automobile industry. Jeff is fifty three years old. Jeff had acute leukemia and Gretchen took care of him. She seems like a nice person. She is very spunky and full of life. Tamra is jealous because she wants to be the hottest housewife, sorry Tamra, Gretchen is the hottest housewife. We caught up with Vicki Gunvalson who is still as hyper as ever. She wants to sell her Lake Havasu home and buy a one million dollar yacht. Her children, Michael and Brianna are living at home for the summer. Gretchen met all of the ladies at a trunk show a Jeana’s home. Jeana is Gretchen and Jeff’s real estate agent and really took a liking to Gretchen. Jeana is going through some changes also. She is remodeling her home, and Matt is staying with her until he can find his own place. Why Matt couldn’t find somewhere else to stay I’ll never know. Tamra’s mom is going to get a face-lift, Tamra also had a lip injection while she was waiting for her mom to finish her consultation. Ryan finally has his own place. He works construction and makes his own money. He and Simon get along better. Simon ever helped Ryan move a huge big screen tv into his new apartment.George and Lauri are still married and getting along. The episode was okay but I sense some cat fights in the future.

Last night, I watched the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show. We got to see NeNe, Sheree, Kim, DeShawn, and Lisa again. Andy Cohen who is a big time executive at Bravo was the host of the reunion show. He always hosts the reunion shows. NeNe got a new haircut, I like her hair long it looks much better. DeShawn said that she is getting a Master’s degree online. Kim said her album is going to drop in January. I think drop is the word here. I mean she cannot sing, we have heard that on television. I think that Big Papa bought her a chance to make an album. I mean I do not think that Simon Cowell would call Kim talented. Kim and NeNe fought again. NeNe said Kim needs to close her legs to married men. Big Papa and Kim had been seeing each other for three years, now their relationship is off and on. I still do not understand how he could be shelling out that kind of money to a woman that he is not married to.  Lisa and Kim go into it about who told Kim about NeNe’s song. Is anyone else sick of hearing about the stupid song? I mean Kim cannot sing, even her vocal coach said that, yet she cannot understand that. Sheree and NeNe still argued. I think those two could be friends again someday. I just think Sheree needs to stop being so high and mighty. They brought out the sixth housewife- Dwight Eubanks, a celebrity hairdresser. I love him, he is so funny. What did you think of the reunion show?

Last night, I watched the new episode of Jon and Kate plus eight on TLC. Jon,Kate, Carla, and the Gosselins were putting together a huge yard sale at a local church. The yard sale was to benefit the pediatric cancer research charity. This is a very great cause to raise money for or donate money to. Jon and Kate filled a huge moving truck with all of their family’s old items and supplies. Carla helped out by coming at five am to help them put together the yard sale at the church. Kate has usual was high strung. First, the tables did not show up on time. They needed tables to put all of their items on. Secondly, when the tables showed up they were filthy and she did not like that. Third, they spelled proceeds incorrectly on her signs. Everything worked out in the end though. The children did attend the yard sale. Kate called a local radio station to advertise her yard sale. Mady and Cara sold drinks for one dollar a piece. In the end, eleven hundred dollars was raise for pediatric cancer research.

Right now, I am watching a Flipping Out marathon on Bravo. The show has not come back for another season even though I wish that it would. I love Jeff Lewis, he is such a character. Right now I am watching Jeff and Jenny in the car. These two are like soul mates only they cannot be together because Jeff Lewis is a homosexual. It is basically like the show Will and Grace. This season was all about the nanny cam, Jeff installed it to catch his employees not working.Now,Chris Keslar had no chance at surviving Jeff Lewis’s office. Chris’s sister is Angela Keslar from Project Runway. Jeff loves to humiliate people that he employs. He thought that he was going to be able to help with the interior design of the homes but that did not prove to be the case. I felt bad for him because he had to leave Jefff Lewis’s office. I mean he could not take being told to do things like steal avocados from a neighbor’s tree or get yelled at for not bring guacamole. I love this show, hopefully it comes back soon.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season four premieres this week. I prefer the Real Housewives of Atlanta, the season was way too short. I love me some NeNe! I think this season we will see Don and Vicki get divorced. Vicki does not even seem to care at all about Don, she hits on other guys, blows him off, and takes him for granted. I would like to see Don dump Vicki not the other way around. Jeana is going to take a hit financially because of the housing crisis. I assume Tamra will too because she is a realtor and her husband works at a car dealership. We will meet a new housewife named Gretchen. Gretchen looks like she is in her twenties. Lauri’s son Josh is battling heroin. I feel bad for Josh he has really had a tough life. I hope he can kick his drug habit soon. Gretchen’s husband has ALM which is leukemia that strikes older people. I have read about it and usually you live at most five years with this disease. What does the season have in store? We will have to watch and see what happens.

I watched Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style marathon that was on Thursday. I enjoy watching this show because Tim Gunn and Gretta work very hard to help people look better. It can be hard for people to have a personal fashion style that works well with their bodies. Tim and Gretta start by going through the women’s closets. The women are allowed to keep ten things that are their must have or go to fashion items. Tim then takes the rest of the clothes back to his loft so that he can see what he is working with and what the woman’s fashion style is. Then, Tim conducts a body scan and that shows how the woman looks with different clothing on. Then, Tim and Gretta give the woman the ten essential things list that they must have some items on the list are: dress pants, classic trench, black dress etc. Then, Gretta takes the woman undergarment shopping and to find their new clothes. Tim usually comes in later ti see how they are progressing. After the items are found, Tim educates the woman on her body type and what she should look for. At the end of the day, Tim compares the woman’s look now to her look previously. I love this show, it is such a great show. I love Tim and Gretta they really want to help women feel better and have a better image of themselves.

I watched Top Chef this week. I have to say that this season the found has not wowed me. I mean the chefs did not even impress judges Tom Collicchio, Gail Simmons and Padma Lakshmi. The quickfire was to make a new spin on the family favorite- the hot dog. Radhika won the quickfire challenge with her Indian inspired hot dog. Then the elimination challenge was announced. The chefs were to cook at Tom Collichio’s famed New York Restaurant- Craft. They were to create appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The big surprise was that the chef contestants would be cooking for the judges and all of the New York based chefs that tried out to be a contestant on this season of Top Chef but did not end up being picked by the show’s producers. These chefs were very tough on the chef conetstants. The biggest error of the evening has two nominees- Ariane and Jill. Ariane’s dessert was so sweet that judge Padma Lakshmi spit the food into her napkin. Jill made an error in using an ostrich egg and not being able to defend herself at judges table. She stuttered and drew a blank and I felt bad for her. The top three were Jamie, Carla, and Fabio. Fabio won the elimination challenge. The bottom three were Hosea, Jill, and Ariane. Surprisingly, Jill went home.
