Last night’s episode of Jon and Kate plus eight revolved around Jon taking four of  the Gosselin children to a Phillies games. Jon took Cara, Aaden, Joel,and Collin with him to see their first baseball game. Now, being a stay at home mother myself I was not very shocked when Jon Gosselin and his four children were up in the box seats, having snacks, and watching the game on a big screen television. I mean come on, how many men with eight children could actually afford that?

The Phillies had their manager’s wife show the Gosselin’s around. The Gosselins also got shirts with Gosselin eight on them, hats, and other souvenirs.

Kate stated in the beginning that Mady and the four little girls were not interested in going to the baseball game but wanted to stay home and watch a movie and eat popcorn. Isn’t that unfair to take four kids to a very expensive once in a liftime outing and have the rest of your kids just stay home and watch a movie and eat popcorn? What I think happened is that Kate didn’t want to go and said out loud that she didn’t want to go so her kids decided to follow suit. My parents never would have just taken half of us to a major league baseball game, they would have made us all go. What do you guys think about this?

Last night, I watched the Amazing Race. I try to follow this reality show but it isn’t as exciting as it used to be. The teams have a little drama mainly between Kelly and Christy and Nick and Starr. I think the format of this show needs to change because the show has become stale. Maybe they should start the contestants off in different locations and have them complete the road blocks and challenges so they are not all in one place at the same time. If the challenge distances and difficulties were the same then there would be no difference in the overall outcome and winner of the Amazing Race. How would you change the Amazing Race?

The Real World/ RR challenges have become well in a word- mundane.Who elected Johnny king of the island anyway? I mean he has always gone home early in every single challenge that he has been on. He is really giving himself a horrible reputation, same goes for Kenny. Why Johanna hooked up with Kenny I will never know. I mean he was really horrible to Tonya and is mean spirited and acts like there should be a holiday named after him.

Tonya went home first which made me sad. She has really improved her behavior. I hope we hear from her again. I want Derrick to win on this challenge. He is married and is expecting a baby and I know that if he will win then he will retire from these challenges. Robin needs to stop doing challenges, she feels like every one owes her this money. You have to work for it, not have it handed to you on a silver platter.

Evelyn is okay, you can tell she has a crush on KellyAnne. Ev is very athletic and is a force to be reckoned with and scares Johnny and Kenny because they know she can and has beaten them in challenges on the island. I will have to watch this week’s episode and see what happens. What do you think oof these challenges? Is it time to come up with a newer and more innovative format?

I recently read on a message board that Jon and Kate Gosselin are trying to adopt a Korean baby girl. Is this such a great idea? I am all for adoption, I hope to adopt some day but I am not old enough because you have to be over 25 to adopt. Jon and Kate have two sets of multiples, one of which is a set of sextuplets. I mean bringing a singleton into the mix will really make that child feel left out. Jon and Kate have said on their web site that they are done having children, they even said it many times on television. Now, they want to adopt? I really hope that this isn’t an idea by TLC to boost ratings. Adopting a child takes love and attention and Jon and Kate Gosselin are constantly leaving their kids to go to speaking arrangements. In this last week’s episode Kate had gone to New York by herself for a campaign about making your child’s lunch.

I think that if the Gosselin’s want to adopt then they should stop filming their reality show and remove the cameras from their home. If they are lucky enough to adopt then they should give this child privacy and not allow her to be filmed. Hopefully this is a rumor, but Kate did say on Ellen last year that she wanted to adopt a little girl from Korea. What do you all think?

Project Runway season five is sadly over. However, this season the only drama was centered around Kenley Collins. As every one knows, I am not one of Kenley’s biggest fans because she has a very bad attitude and is disrespectful to her fellow designers, Tim Gunn, and the judges. She only got to the Project Runway finale show because of the drama she brings not her talent. In her final collection, the dress that was entirely painted looked like an over-sized over mitt. I mean I have seen oven mitts that look exactly the same and it is a big turn off.

I really thought the top three designers in the Project Runway finale show should have been Leanne, Korto, and Jerell. I mean Jerell started out pretty mediocre but towards the middle of the competition he showed his stuff and is very talented. Korto Momolu is a very great fashion designer. Her clothes show her cultural heritage and would look great on any woman. The judges main problem was that her collection had some pieces that were over-designed. I think if she had kept it simpler then she might have won the entire competition.

Leanne is the winner of Porject Runway season five. I think she deserved it. I kind of got annoyed with the constant amount of pedals on her clothes but her clothes were well designed. Leanne is quiet and kind of shy but her clothes are very elegant.  I know that she will be very successful because she has a great work ethic and is very grounded and responsible.

I would give this season of Project Runway a C. It wasn’t terribly interesting if you leave out all of the Kenley drama. I mean last season you had Chris March, Christian Siriano, and others who had a loud personality and were very fun to watch. Hopefully, season six will get here soon. I think it’s going to be on Lifetime but that is still pending a court decision. What did you think of this season of Project Runway?

This week’s new episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta was okay. I loved seeing NeNe taking her son Brison to college. She is a great mom. She was asking whether they could paint the room and install plasmas. She also asked Brison if  he was going to be able to dust and keep his room clean.

Sheree was yet again indulgent. How can you spend $6500 on five pairs of shoes? I mean that’s insane. She hasn’t even gotten her divorce settlement money yet and she is always seen blowing money.

Sheree also decided to attend Kim’s eleven year old daughter Brielle’s birthday party. Sheree and Kim are friends but not best friends why are you inviting these women to an eleven year old’s birthday party. NeNe did talk to Sheree by phone to end their fight. I doubt these two ladies are done with the drama.

DeShawn bores me. She ranted and raved about her home but there are no personal touches. Her son’s rooms look like guest rooms bot rooms for young boys. She also pretended to be taking notes during a job interview but the Word document on the screen was blank. She says she is a single mom six days a week but she has a chef, nanny, governess, and housekeeper. She doesn’t have a bunch of kids and I really don’t know what she does all day.

Kim’s birthday party was way too much. She spent 18,000. She keeps saying she worked for everything she has but she has no job and lives off her looks. How is that teaching your daughter a work ethic? Her daughter was even asking if she ordered wine, I wouldn’t want the chaperon of my daughter drinking while they are in a hotel where anything could happen to them.

What will happen next week? The preview has NeNe asking her dad to take a DNA test.

Sadly, this season of the Rachel Zoe Project has come to a close. I am sad to see this show go that is for sure. Last night’s episode was centered around Rachel, Brad, and Taylor handling dressing women like Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Garner, Demi Moore, and Cameron Diaz. You knew that as usual Brad was going to screw something up and bring the drama. Brad left Rachel without a kit, jewelry, and shoes for her client. A major meltdown ensued because Rachel had to call her friend Joey who was stay at her house and ask him to bring her a kit, shoes, and accessories.

 Taylor is right though, Brad is always talking to Rachel. I mean Rachel basically hired Brad because he dresses nicely and she would have someone to gab with all day. I mean Taylor is always working whereas Brad is always with Rachel or sitting around. He complain that the reason he’s not effective because he doesn’t know what to do but he never asks Taylor if he can help her.Rachel should have trained Brad.

The sweetest moment came when Rodger bought Rachel a 1956 Porsche. Now, she has her Dylan McKay convertible. I love Rodger, he’s the best husband on reality television. Hopefully, there will be a season two of the Rachel Zoe Project soon.

Last night there were two new episodes of the Duggar’s reality show 17 Kids and Counting. The episodes this week featured the Bates family a family exactly like the Duggars. They have sixteen kids and the mom Kelly is pregnant again. All together there were 33, well 35 if you count the two unborn children that Kelly and Michelle are pregnant with. All together Michelle and Kelly have been pregnant for over 25 years.

Cousin Amy visited again. I love Amy. In the confessionals every episode the kids harp on how they like her even though she’s not like them. They also say we love her because you have to love your family. I feel bad for Amy, I think the Duggars only let her be on the show to show that they are a little more mainstream, same thing with the computer with Internet. The Bates don’t own a television and the Duggars don’t let their kids watch television but they are on television and reap financial benefits for it.

This week’s episodes were okay, the families went to Silver Dollar City, played paintball, played kickball, and went skydiving.  All in all I liked this week’s episode, and I love Amy and Grandpa Duggar they are so real.

NeNe Leakes on the Real Housewives of Atlanta is by far my favorite housewife of all time. She is so energetic and full of life. Money hasn’t changed her as much as it has the other women.For instance, DeShawn and Sheree have staffs. I mean who needs all of those people to run a home? Sheree had a publicist for her birthday. Come on, you are not that famous. Why would you need a nanny and a governess when you don’t work?

NeNe is so much fun and I think she is a great friend. She makes sure that her sons are disciplined and she knows how to have a good time. NeNe keeps it real whereas Sheree is trying to be something she’s not. You are born with class, you can not buy it.

I love NeNe and Lisa on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. They are down to earth andI would be friends with both of them.

Okay, lately when I visit web sites that have celebrity gossip or news Rachel Zoe’s name is always mentioned and not in a good way. They are now bashing her for being a triple virgo. They are saying she is lying about her age. Do we really care if she is or not? I mean celebrity gossip columnists need to get better material. Rachel Zoe keeps getting accused of being a drug dealer, drug user, and anorexic. I mean she is a celebrity stylist, not a big time celebrity like Angelina Jolie or Nicole Kidman. They constantly bash her on the way she looks which in my opinion is very unfair. This is why people find it okay to shout out things at McCain/Palin rallies because we have deemed it okay to bash celebrities so we can bash anyone and get away with it. It is very sad.
