Right now, I am watching the show Intervention. This show is reality tv and what it is truly intended to be. These are real people facing real problems. The show deals with addiction issues and the toll that they have on families. This show moves me because it is not about rich people or celebrities, it is about real people who are just like us only they have addiction issues.

We see the affects of addiction. The episode that I am currently watching is about a cyclist named Chad who ruined his great  cycling career because of smoking crack. He eventually decided to live on the streets and it really hurt his family. His mother was really affected by her son’s behavior. Chad eventually decided to go to rehab in Florida.After three months in rehab he looked great and was drug free.
